Hotel La Chope - Cambrai

Great central location, right in the heart of the city.

The food was fab with a lot of alternatives.

Greatly enjoyed our well decorated and tidy rooms.

We had an adjoining bedroom.

Very pleasant experience, the hotel is modern with magnificent location in the middle of the city. The staff are very helpful, everyone.

The hotel was good standard, I liked it, especially garden view. I got complimentary king room as an upgrade, nice gesture. The staff was affable and professional, the beds were comfortable. The location seemed peaceful and excellent to an alternative restaurant. Moreover, it's close to main square and the centre of the town.

The breakfast here offers a great variety of delicious food options.

Easy access to Motorways. Secure parking albeit access through the gates very tight.

Shower exceedingly small. Shower head did not fit the bracket consequently you had to hold the head in your hand to bathe. Toilet seat almost dangerous to men - very badly chipped at the front.

Quiet well placed and helpful staff. restraunt not open on Friday but Cambrai offers lots of alternatives.

The staff here were friendly, and we loved the nicely decorated rooms.

The hotel closses during the afternoon so arrive at lunch time or early evening

The price was right and the location was as good as I could have asked for But I only have one complaint - the noise. I was given a room on the street side of the hotel; the traffic noise was terrible. The guests in the next room were conversing in a normal voice and I was still able to here them. And their television also! Good quality walls. I could here the people walking in the room above me because the floors squeaked so much. Every time someone passed through, or even near the front door, I could hear the "ding dong" notification. Other than this, everything was fine. Who gave this hotel two stars????? To answer the question below would depend on whether all the rooms were like the one I had. Maybe.

The staff here were awesome and gave us some great tips. the food was amazing, they had so many different options to choose from! 🍴.

Dinner is not available at the weekend and it is a 15 minute walk to the toewn centre.

friendly-helpful.Unfortunately the restaurant was closed in the evenings of Friday/Saturday/Sunday.But close by was another restaurant,with equally good cuisine.I would stay here again,and recommend it to others.
